HOLY FUCKING SHIT. This browser is blows FF and Chrome out of the water. It so fucking fast, snappy and out of your way. Also very light on the memory. The only thing stopping me from making it my main browser is extension support so I can install uBlock and HTTPS everywhere.
All in all a very refreshing experience.

I like that like IE11 it has native hw accel making it feel cosy as fuck, the worst part about cross platform browsers is how shitty they run, IE11/Edge run better than any other OS/browser combo with OSX+Safari coming close second.
Its DOA if it doesn't have extension support.

Whatever, fuck you /g/tards. I've uninstalled Chrome and now use Opera and Edge as my main browsers. The only reason Opera has the edge on Edge (ba dum tss) is that it has extensions/plugins. I'm looking forward to Adblock, HTTPS Everywhere, Hola, and Disconnect on Edge. It runs very well. Haven't looked at any figures as of yet, but opening up 10+ tabs on Edge compared to when I used to do the same on Chrome is literally night and day.
I don't even have any plugins in Firefox, cause I don't give a shit about Firefox.

I just opened all the tabs I had open in Firefox.
800MB vs. 62MB for Edge. I restarted Firefox and that got it down to 477MB, disabled all addons and restarted again it sat at 420MB.
This is incredible. I wonder how they got Edge to that point.
I'm going to seriously consider this browser once it matures a little bit because it's still quite buggy and lacking in features.
I would be highly interested if anyone knows if there are any technical write-ups about how they got it so light.

Lemme tell you a secret, OP, both FF and Chromium are just about as fast as Edge if you use them without extensions. That said, in the best case scenario Edge has only caught up on speed and usability, and now it needs another 2 years or so to get all the basic extensions ported.
So for now it's not a browser, it's still a browser downloader.
