WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON

anyone know if its a DDOS, or has my CC and Login credentials been leaked.

I would like to add that the page kept cycling through languages and i was logged into random accounts. Weird.

>inb4 >>>/v/
this is a security breach, not a video game. Pertains to technology more than videogames.
>>
>>52054372
Steam just emptied my bank account, 800€.

Please help. Shit is fucking going nuts
>>
>>52054372
/v/ has like 5 million posts about this already

>some caching issue
>valve took like 2 hours before they finally shut their shit down
>they say it's only a "caching issue" and not a security breach
>nevertheless you can still see other people's names, phone numbers, emails, and last digits of their credit cards
>>
>>52054372
>>52054388
nothing has been breached.
this is a caching issue that ends up showing you someone else's account.
nobody can even make a purchase or change anything about your account.

the only things that would be stolen is paypal address, phone number and purchase history, and the last 2 digits of your credit card (not the security code).

And you wouldn't be stupid enough to give steam your phone number, right?
>>
This is just Valves way of getting people to stop playing games on Christmas.

All the "other account" information you see is fake.
>>
>>52054388
Does steam even offer debit?

I never saved anything on there, I only paid through paypal and I always had to log in seperately to paypal when buying something, so I'm not too worried.

Also, if you had your CC saved, didn't you still have to enter your 3 digit security code or could you immediately buy?
>>
>>52054410
/v/ is going apeshit right now over someone seeing their steam account.
>>
please let 2FA be the attack-vector for this hack, please!

It's not a hack (at least valve shills say it's not), only some fuckup of valve

It's just that 2FA couldn't have prevented this.

Lol, is it worse than Reddit or iverge? Fucking autist

The Verge is fine. Kotaku is even worse than reddit.
>>
>>52058378
Does that SJW site... trigger you?
>>
>>52054372
No fucking credentials have been leaked. The worse they can do is use the last 4 digits of your CC for some targeted social engineering.

It doesn't make any sense.

We can read your posts just fine without you needlessly increasing the post length.
