Change slot. If issue persists, RMA.
>>
DOA. RMA that shit and get a new one
>>
First check drivers / try different display out. If nothing is wrong RMA it, its probably cooked.
>>
I only have 500W though, could it be a power issue?

check cable. RMA

Doubt it. Never happened to me. I agree with the anons here. RMA it and see what you can do later
>>
>>52049316
even if it could potentially limit your OC in the future you still loaded into windows so no 500W is meh but it's not it
try other slots & cables

Never had a problem with Nvidia before this
>>
I've known this feel from both manufacturers, OP, don't let anyone fool you with grass is greener shit. Not only my parts but parts I've ordered for other people's builds have been DoA.

DOA AMD/ATi:
Diamond Radeon 8500
Sapphire Radeon 9600
XFX Radeon HD4770
PowerColor Radeon HD7870 GHz Edition

DOA Nvidia:
BFG GeForce 6800GT
Sparkle GeForce 8500GT 512MB
EVGA GeForce GTX460 v2
Zotac GeForce GTX780Ti

My best advice is to have enough money to buy two of the graphics card and return the one that doesn't work or is redundant.

Haha, it's kind of a shame this happens so often. I feel like i have a curse on me. Every tech thing i buy is either broken or doesn't work as it should. Bought a laptop in 2010 for school which turned itself off at random times. My PS2 and PS3 just died some days after i got them. Two of my phones died only weeks after i got them. And now this card is DOA. Great.
