Merry Christmas /g/. Hope you guys got what you wanted. I got a Thinkpad X1 Carbon, what should install on it? It came with windows 10 and I'm thinking of installing Ubuntu or Mint. Any advice as to what to add?

Ubuntu or Mint ought to be really easy yeah. But keep in mind, this image is basically truth.

Depends on the distro desu
Ubuntu Linux Mint are good starting points
if you want to explore try antergos or manjaro good Arch based distro's for beginners

So Linux is full of problems?
>>52048403
maybe because you use it desu

No, just very powerful. And you don't have a large company like apple and microsoft to control your computer. you have to do it yourself.
In windows 10 it updates itself, restarts itself and deletes software it considers unsafe (anything open source, why use firefox when you can use edge. and that sort of thing)
In linux you have to update yourself and delete software yourself. nobody is going to do it for you. and on windows it is easy to collect information and send it to microsoft, it is done automatically. on linux you have to send your pictures to microsoft manually and you have to install a keylogger yourself if you want microsoft to have it. this can be automated of course, but is not included.
