Depends on what you are going to do with it. If you are going to use it for anything that takes advantage multithreading the AMD chip will probably beat out the i3. Otherwise the i3 will be faster. If you are going to use modern daws/video editors/adobeshit, then the amd chip will probably win out. That said, I haven't used an AMD cpu for 4 years now and from what I understand Intel chips currently perform much better clock for clock.

The cpus are different, you can't just compare core count. You could even argue that FX cpu claimed cores are not true cores etc, there's so much more to it than that.
For games that are cpu intensive and/or with shitty (older) engines: anything amd<<<anything intel
