So somehow, a lot of urine got all over my Thinkpad. I'm worried that if I turn it on, it might fry itself. What can I do mitigate the damage?

Why did you piss on your Chinkpad?
>>52036391
cat maybe?
>>52036331
rice it and wait two days
>>52036391
I'm pretty sure it was my dog. For some reason he must of thought it was a good place to mark his territory.

I hope you already removed the battery, try cleaning it with DISTILLED water and letting it dry, I mean for a couple of days at least.
If it stills fries when you open it up don't blame me, not much you could've done

Logical, I forgot pets like to piss on everything when the need arises.
Well op best thing to do is rice, and if thats not applicable remove the battery if you haven't already, and blow dry it. Not sure how you're going to get the piss smell out.

Thanks. I removed the battery first think, so I'm hoping its salvageable.
Rice is apparently a placebo, but leaving it to dry for a minimum of a week definitely isn't one.
As for the smell? beats me. Sorry.
Just gotta leave it in a warm, dry place for 1 - 3 weeks.

Be sure to piss on it yourself afterwards so he learns his place.

Maybe 99% isopropyl alcohol might do it but it'll take a lot of it to submerge a thinkpad though
too late bitch capacitors probably got wet with the golden shower
