Just installed it from the ppa. It's neat, but maybe not worth it for laptops since it increases my power usage considerably. With default settings it increases my power draw to 17W vs. 11W with LXTerm.
Haven't really made it into the options yet, maybe I can find a balance somewhere.

I have played around with Lynx and Links2 (not w3m).
In Lynx you can specify an image viewer with "XLOADIMAGE_COMMAND" as well as "VIEWER:image/" in a config file. I would imagine webms would work in a similar fasion. I'm sure there are ways to in Links2 as well as w3m.
I gave up on using cli browsers on 4chan because I don't know how to make captchas work.
