Push it to the limits edition.
>>52026542
this is the limit?
riced CPU-Z edition
Load CPU voltage is 1.368
>>52026854
That's pretty high.
I get 1.2v @ 4.5Ghz
gaymen laptop :^)
zenbook ux3003lb
>>52026933
hwmonitor says 1.392 for CPU VCORE but 1.261 for VID. Which is more accurate?
How can AMD even compete?
Meh I'm pretty happy with my 4770k but the OC headroom is pretty small. Thanks gimpy thermal compound.
AMD reporting in
pls no bully
>>52028317
Somethings not right here, first of all damn that single core performance compared to my 4770k secondly why is your speed displayed incorrectly?
>>52028494
Nvm I thought your single core was 2200 for a sec
>>52026542
Dat OC makes my dick hard. What kinda temps are you seeing?
>>52028494
i took the screenshot after it was done benching, heres one while it was under load
>>52028544
That core voltage makes me sweat bullets, Is that normal for an OC of 4.1Ghz?
>>52028555
>That core voltage makes me sweat bullets, Is that normal for an OC of 4.1Ghz?
i haven't even OC'd it, this is as it runs stock
>>52028563
to add to that, i'm pretty noobish compared to the average /g/entleman.
>>52028538
Noctua NH-D14 (35 idle, 88 max load).
I run at 4.5Ghz @ 1.2 when i'm just shitposting and watching stuff.
>>52028563
Dang, I never realized AMD ran with this much voltage. Current Intel processors at their maximum OC only hit 1.3ish volts as confirmed by your temps that is a lot of thermal energy to dissipate. I am running an H110 which is a dual 140mm CLC idling at 31ish and max load of about 66F @4.6Ghz at all times.
4.4GHz.
>>52028494
There's nothing wrong there. AMD is simply garbage.
>>52028686
i just ran a stress test and all cores hit 56c, and in under 5 minutes they're back down to ~17c.
my r9 390 likes to run hot too (60Cish, but from what i've read its normal
>>52028755
Bruh that entirely depends on ambiant temps. my room is like lava right now. If you are idling at ~17c then your room must be colder. I would rather my room be hot than like 60F. If I had to guess my room is like 80F right now.
>>52028735
Kek I'm glad I don't own one that's for sure.
>>52028832
lol, this room is fucking freezing. house was build in 1919, pc is in a sun room sort of thing, so i have 8 old leaky windows. ambient temp in here is 18.6c (63 in freedom units)
There's another CPU-Z thread that hasn't even neared limit, why does this thread exist?
>>52026956
VID comes from a list of predefined voltages for various factors (load, frequency, C-state, etc) which varies per chip, vcore is the actual measured voltage being supplied by the motherboard (which will vary in accuracy depending in your board)
>>52028884
Because your Dad is in that thread and he won't stop posting pictures of him raping you as a child.
OP said push it to the limit guys!
Pass that death volt and hit up dem multipliers!
>>52029714
holy fuck
>>52029714
shoop?
Man, I sure loves my multi-threaded score.
>>52029731
>>52029764
Probably LN2 suicide run if you are lucky. I think the world record is held by an AMD chip - possibly 6300 - hitting something like 8.5ghz, but I could be mistaken.
oh wow
That's my gayming machine
Benchmark threads like this really bring into focus just how shit AMD CPUs are at tasks that dont use all dem cores (basically everything but workstation tasks).
>>52028722
>>52029830
Look at that multi-threaded scaling caused by a mere 100mhz bump.
>>52030742
If you believed /g/ a 9590 can't even play minesweeper at more than 10fps.
>>52026542
2500k at 4.5ghz 1.31v
seems kinda low for that desu.
hits 73c in IBT with a phanteks pchchtpank-14 or whatever its called.
Could push harder if i wanted.
