No. Odds are that the ones assembling it know less than you do and are just following some ikea style picture guide. And they care a whole lot less if they do a shitty job because it's not their PC. Build your own. It doesn't take that long.
>>
>>52009997
on the other hand, if something goes wrong during assembly it's their fault and you don't have to buy replacement parts.

a shop that rips off their customers like that would get negative reviews out of the ass. then again, my mother once bought an ethernet cable for 30€ at a retailer and they're still in business.

>>
>>52011931
There's nothing wrong with seagate, the drives that fail the most are the 1.5tb. My experience with WD was garbage. (keep in mind they are not new, they are from 2008-10 and still working fine) I don't want to paint the gpu because I like the yellow accents, and I don't want to shell out money for replacement psu wires because if I modify the wires it might nullify my 10 year warranty. If I do find the wires for a good price then I will custom sleeve them.

Me too, Anon, but such is the trade-off for a comfy PCIe passthrough setup. Radeon linux drivers for the Fury are horseshit, but Nvidia cards don't play nice in VMs, so the best setup was both an Nvidia and an AMD card.

I'm in construction so I usually build bottom up, also, my dad works for the company who make molex connectors (they're called Molex fyi), so he told me to use those.

$120 well spent.

Are you the kind of person who buys the lower capacity hard drive to save $5 because "you dont need that much storage"?

Real talk though. Before this setup I had 2 heavily clocked 290s and an even heavier clocked fx-9370. With furmark and p95 testing I easily drew 880w from the wall.

>>
>>52018250
A quality PSU can easily last 10 years. Even no-name psu's last that long. You can choose to crossfire/sli without having to worry about upgrading the power supply. But yes you are right about capacitor aging, although they don't age as quick when they aren't at 100% load.
>>
>>52018682
I feel like youre making fun of me somehow.

But it is not even about being poor. It was sinply the best deal at the time. Everything else in its price range was a bronze cert 650 or 750w. Newegg had this fully modular 1kw for $120 so Microcenter price matched.

Otherwise Id probably have a 650B from evga or something.

The plastic parts on the motherboard actually match the case paint pretty close. The case is a limited edition, I didn't actually paint it, it came that color.

I actually currently run Crucial Ballistix Tactical LP which match the heatsink color accurately. Bonus I have them OC'd to 2133 @10-9-10-24-1T.

Thanks for the advice though, it's always appreciated! :3

It's just a smaller version of the standard molex. Lots of components will use it like add-on cards (USB, Firewire, etc), LED bars, fan controllers, etc.

No, those tend to use the 4 pin Molex. The little 4 pin Berg connector is only used by a small number of sound cards and legacy equipment these days. Onboard sound has improved by leaps and bounds over the past few years, to the point where I feel anything but a top-shelf sound card is redundant, and fuck legacy devices that old. New power supplies shouldn't have those connectors at all. The few people who need them can buy a Molex to Berg adapter.
>>
>>52018286
Thanks man. Unfortunately I only just bought BF4 as of today, so I haven't been able to check the performance.
