I would use it, but openbox is nice and I don't really need the KDE desktop stuff on my desktop PC and my laptop is underpowered. It looks good, though--but I'd suggest an anime pape & episode instead of the default bg.

ben the bar is actually helpful if you are using openbox, so that you can quickly mouse over it and scroll up when your mom walks in and thus prevent her from seeing that you are browsing the "sundress" tag on danbooru but--and this is the crux of the matter--if you have a panel, you may not actually need to have the window title, in the title bar. Just something to "chew on".

You don't need a title to tell what a window is unless it's hidden and merely listed instead of shown (by a taskbar or other window monitor, for instance). The titlebar is actually the control bar, because clicking a thin little border and using a menu with five options is more inefficient than clicking a thick bar with five buttons, and often more useful than alt+drag since most non-autists have the cognitive ability to rapidly mouse to a specific area as fast as they can move their hand off the homerow and locate meta. The title is there for aesthetic reasons, and is normally displayed again within the application itself.

Basically what I'm trying to do is determine the nature of, and then analyze, the allegory underlying the childhood friend. Because anime, in particular, relies so heavily on stock elements, it is possible to consider the repeated stories and characters as parts of a "myth" drawn from earlier works and cultural views. The interesting thing here is that this "myth" has been developed over time; the "anime romantic comedy", and the character of the "osananajimi", are not drawn from any single source but from an aggregation of fictive narratives; if we can bring into focus the characteristics and purpose of an element, we can work backwards from that to examine the myth and mythos itself, and ultimately (according to a marxist view) the society and social baggage that spawned it, rendering our initial conclusions a basis for social critique.
