no one disagrees ffs.

im using arch+i3 and its no shit win10 is hands down the best.

seriously this is ridiculous at this point. we KNOW its the best, some of us can't afford a good os, fuck off.

like other poster said, >window, we get it, it's the best, fuck off middle class american.

The Best Windows OS by miles. If it had the 3rd party dev support that Apple enjoys, I could see Windows ecosystem getting good again in about 5-10 years time

But why would I use Fedora over a Debian derived distro that has far more support when I'm too much of a noob and need to look shit up?
>>
>>52006444

its going to make it hard to switch to Ubuntu 16.04

especially since i found Qihoo 360 security suite which comes with the Avira and Bitdefender engines making it 100% save and entirely free

its literally free you dumb ass the "activation" watermark doesnt mean what it did on prior windows versions

No idea if Debian brings signed kernels anyway.
>>

>>

Actually Korora is the fedora for n00bs, normies.
>>52008506
Because if you someday buy a laptop who happens to have secureboot locked without posibility of disable it, you will need distros who have signed kernels.
>>
>>52008514

Doesn't Ubuntu have that now? Thanks for informing me about that, that's really good to know.
>>
>>52008520
Yeah, I remember they bring signed kernels.
If you want to use linux in a laptop, be sure to know if secure boot can be disabled.
That's the way to pressure OEMs to don't lock their hardware; don't buy secure boot locked laptops.

people say the same thing about OSX and how an ancient version can do everything a new version can. You either:

- Don't use your computer for much
- Don't notice things
- Do everything in your web browser
>>
>>52006444
Its probably your first, too
>>
>>52009059
Yes you are right. In windows 10, we can now be spied on with the "telemetry", be shown ads in the start menu, and have our computers restart at 4am in the morning to install precious updates.

ok... so we got a shitty start menu full of ads that wastes space, a crappy appstore with almost nothing useful in it, an buggy cortana that wastes resoures like crazy and doesn't work half the time, and more crappy appified revisions of stuff like internet explorer. Like I said, no actual good new features. but then again, you probably get paid to post all this stuff.
>>
>>52009203
the real reason windows users get raped, is because you don't support decent developers and so none make anything for windows anymore. If you wanted to make windows better, you'd stop using google services and start using Microsoft built in apps, buy a windows phone, and buy any apps on the app store that show potential

That's s crock just because vendors now use UEFI as their serial (if you notice, Windows 8 had no serial), you can still install Kali and use grub as your bootloader. Both my Windows 8 and 10 laptops and my 10 desktop dual boot.
