is there any ACTUAL reasons (read: not the botnet meme) to not use Microsoft Edge? it seems significantly faster and uses way less RAM than Firefox or Chrome.
I am aware it doesn't play webms and that it doesn't have any addons, I block ads in the hosts file anyway so that doesn't bother me (much).

Chrome anyways has, and probably always will, win the browser wars because of the integration with the Gapps stack.
I have four different computers and a smart phone, and Chrome syncs everything between them without any effort. Huge availability of extensions and apps. Seamless integration with mobile.
It wins not because it's 'fastest' out least resource intensive browser, but because it has the best ecosystem surrounding it.
Doesn't matter how good of a web page renderer Edge is, I'll never use it because it can't compete with the intangibles.
