Windows has come a long way in the looks department. It's about on par with OS X 10.10/10.11 but honestly I'm still not into the whole flat trend. If OS X 10.12 went back to a Mavericks-type I wouldn't be mad about it at all. As it is, OS X just looks kinda me-too at first glance, but still the fit and finish is better than anything Windows or Linux could ever hope to achieve.
