I thought about installing Windows 98 on this rig, but it handles Windows XP and light web browsing fine.

I would just have installed win 98 for the nostalgia and A E S T H I C S.

Gay.
>>
>>51993283
Hmm, I have two hard drives, maybe I'll just make a Windows 98 partition. I tried multiple floppy drives and none work, but who cares nowadays since this machine can use USB flash drives. It's funny how everyone talks shit about Firefox but it's the only modern browser (except possibly Opera) that still works fine on this kind of hardware.

Pretty much the same as mine except I have a HD 7850 and a 1360x768 TV.
>>
>>51994050
Hell yeah, I sunk less than $500 into it by shopping around.
I'm pretty proud of it even though I get yelled at for having a housefire all the time.
I had a 1 TB Barracuda at one point, but it died so now I use two old 2.5" HDDs from salvage laptops.

I'm such a jew.
>>
I just upgraded my Motherboard/CPU

This is the first time in over 10 years I don't have an Asus board....

Speaking of things related to 10, this deactivated my windows 10 license they gave me for beta testing, so that's fucking annoying.

pretty happy with this. 8350 is at 4.6, need to add more storage desperately but I have some drives on the way. Only other thing I'm thinking of adding is another gpu and calling it a day for this rig.

I'd say wait.
Your fx 6300 is still a decent processor. Plus dx12 should help a lot.
