Any good alternatives to F.lux?
Cons- seems to penalize my display rendering time. Sometimes wish I could make the effect more intense than the highest setting allows.
Pros - does the job, easy to use.
Android alternative I recently tried is called Twilight. It's okay. Switched to it because L.ux Light was pissing me off because it kept forgetting the preferences I gave it.
I guess Altertavite Software General
Try CF lumen for Android

ok, thanks
CM comes with LiveDisplay, it's the same of f.lux. having both features on laptop and muy smartphone feels great
Put the transition time to long, it won't be so visible and your graphics won't take a hit.

You might already know this, but you can expand the color range in the menu next to settings "Lighting at night".

2700k My room has warm lights so it turns out pretty comfy at night. I also set the 60m cycle so my eyes can adjust to the white balance change

I just leave flux on piss yellow mode all day.
Going back to the regular setting is too bring now that I'm used to it.
Does this hurt my eyes?

I doubt it. Professional gamers use gamer glasses to block blue light all the time and they seem to be okay.

op i beg of you stop using that trash, it doesn't work worth shit
you're going to call me a faggot but just buy the gamer glasses, they work perfectly
flux and alternatives don't actually reduce eye strain, you just think they do
at the very least just look at gunnars site, the glasses don't look THAT autistic.
