They'd be the only one buying A380s if they did but that's just retarded.
Big jumbos are out, they just aren't flexible enough, they cost too much to run so you need them full and flying frequently.
More, smaller, jets give you more flexibility. If there is heavy demand on a route you put two planes on it, if the demand drops you take one off.
You can't afford to send jumbos around half empty anymore. It just isn't viable. And A380s are severely limited in the number of airports they can land at.
