I'm totally average size (5'9") and it feels fine to me. The super small bezels really help make it feel a lot smaller that most all other phablets out there.

Moto E LTE 2015 on Verizon. Shit is pretty cash for a $10 phone. Does 99% of the stuff my S6 did and gets better battery life. I wish the camera had a flash, and I kind of liked the IR blaster on the S6, but that's about it. The screen resolution is kinda shitty but not so bad as to be distracting, and it really doesn't lag in a noticeable way. I always had the S6 in Power Saving mode anyway so the difference in performance isn't so great.

On the contrary, the screen is fantastic. I don't even ever keep it on maximum brightness, because it's too bright. On max brightness it basically looks like an amoled screen, which is incredible for an LCD screen.
Also remember this is an early 2014 flagship, I got it for 300 bucks. All metal, premium feel etc. None of those chinkshits even come close to looking as good as this baby. Who even makes all-metal phones now, except for Samsung, Apple and HTC? Everything else is cheap shit, chinkshit, etc. Really, if HTC could get its shit together on cameras and stop cloning iphones, they would become a decent company again, they have the genetics for building quality stuff.

I picked it precisely to be LCD because I don't want to have to deal with amoled burn in.
My initial thought was to get a Note 4 or 5, but the glass back (which can break easily from just one drop) and amoled screen (potential burn in) were too big risks for the amount of money I would be sinking in a phone.
So I decided to get a classic older flagship as a bridge phone and wait for better times to get a good phone.
And yeah 300 bucks for the M8 was a good price. It came new, sealed in a box. I got it from a German eBay store and they gave me 2 years warranty, so if anything happens with the hardware in 2 years, I'll either get a replacement or get refunded.
