Quick search says that a neuron can fire up to 1000 times a second, though 1 to 600 times per second for any given neuron is typical.
So a brain would have a max clock speed of 1khz through trillions of cores.

A single nerve, yes, but the entire network (brain) is slower depending on what its doing. It can be <1hz (Delta Waves, seen in NREM stage 3 sleep)
to as high as 100+hz during heavy processing.
Signal propagation also puts a fairly hard limit on how fast a human brain can cycle.

Neurons can fire about 5 times a second, but the brain doesn't have the kernel-processes model that computers have, so it's not an accurate comparison.

Not really pertinent to "mhz speed of da brain" but sentient thought is just nothing but a byproduct of the processing that our brain is always doing. While we are aware of whatever we're focusing on at any given moment, our brain is regulating and processing thousands of things individually, and our thoughts are nothing more than the results of those things.
I'm not saying this to be all "nothing is real consciousness is an illusion open your third eye brooooo", but that's more or less true in a sense. (except for the last part obviously)
Our thoughts are just the results of input from our senses compared and contrasted with memories stored from our past. If we compare ourselves to actual silicon based computers, the vast majority of our ram and CPU usage would LITERALLY just be regulation of background systems/programs to keep the damn thing from crashing and destroying itself.
Neurons don't have clock cycles.

Actually they kind of do, they fire in the order of 100 to 1000 times a second. Problem is, you can't really call it a clock cycle because they don't all fire at once. they just fire whenever.

in extreme situations a human brain can process even higher. Eye has no FPS, it sees literally everything, the brain however does not process most of it, in extreme situations of peril and danger, it does. In these situations the brain can process unlimited "FPS" thus making the time be experienced slower.
