I have an fx 6300 clocked at 4ghz with an EVO212 that basically never gets hot and a 7850. 16gb of ram.
I kind of want to do a new build, but I just can't convince myself I need to. Still tempted to get a new card, but I have a 600w psu and if I were to upgrade I would go platinum so between the a new PSU and 390 it would run me some 500 or so.
Atleast it would give me an excuse to install this 5 pack of silent arctic fans I got a few months ago off amazon for like $20.

I have a 1440p monitoring arriving on monday. What I really need to do is try running some games on it off the 7850 and see how that goes before I bother to get a new card. The 2gb of vram seems a massive bottleneck at that res though.

Uh guess it's mond of related. Built my own pc a few months ago and its been working fine. I moved today though and now the psu will turn on and power everything else for like a second, turn off, and then turn back on infinitely unless I switch the psu off

Should I upgrade my gpu and/or cpu+mobo? I built my tower 4 and a half years ago and haven't since, but I haven't noticed a need to so far, but I'm also planning to game a bit more and I have a job that pays pretty well and offers a 2-year 0-interest PC loan up to $3000.
