/g/, what are your recommended monitors? I am looking for a monitor that I can both play console games on (via hdmi and maybe composite as well) as well as browse the web. Is that a good idea, or should I buy a tv instead?
Also, I may as well post this here. The monitor page in the wiki is an image, and because of this I cant click on the hyperlinks. The page also doesnt appear in search.

What about the ROG Swift?

If youre looking for simple 23 inch monitors, I use the ASUS VH238H and used the 232H before those. Low input lag, good viewing distance, and good colors. Bezels are kind of big though, so if youre going multi monitor go with something thinner.

nah im not aiming for multiple ones. Just something that displays both computers and video game consoles well

Not really, 1080p on the desktop is at the end of its rope. At least get 1440p, ideally 4K. Avoid those ultra-widescreen meme monitors with only 1080 vertical pixels. Ultra-widescreen with 1440 vertical pixels is fine, though.

I've been looking at a P2416 (1440p), but I hear there are still some issues with Windows scaling. Would a U2415 be better?

I literally have that exact monitor. I almost passed over this thread until I spotted this post.
I fucking love this monitor.
