Not the OP, but Firefox bottlenecks using all of one of my CPU's cores whenever I open a new tab that has anything in it. It is especially bad on 4chan.
I've tried resetting and it didn't help. I've used older forks like Waterfox and Palemoon and don't have these problems with them.
Running in firefox's safe mode drastically improves performance, but even with a fresh install of Firefox without any plug-ins or extensions running I still get terrible performance.
