Good job, Firefox. You idiots killed the one thing I actually used.

Does anyone have a decent replacement for Tab Groups? All the ones I've seen so far are just glorified bookmark bars.

Yeah, Tab Groups.

step up kindred

So you need a way of organizing open tabs into groups?
What's wrong with just opening a new window for each? That's what I've always done.
>>
>>51942926
Man I wish Gnome Shell would integrate with tab groups so badly...

Still looks way better than Chrome's, sadly. The latter's absolute fucking shit tier font rendering is the only thing that keeps me using Firefox.

I don't know how people can live without tree style tabs. I have no problem managing upwards of 70 tabs at any time. Tabs reopen when I launch firefox again so it's really convenient
>>
>>51944724
>>51944741
God damn it, who actually MAKES all those fucking frogs?
>>
>>51944800
I tried it, but it sucks. You have to constantly scroll up and down.
I got 5 rows of open tabs it the top, over 100, and can see all of them at one glance. It's much more convenient.
>>
>>51944800
I rarely ever have more than four or five tabs open at once.

At least they finally got around to supporting youtube 1080p 60fps on linux.
lol
>>
>>51944649
Actually it cuts some pixel from the letters. Also, reverse image search and smooth scrolling don't work anymore.
>>
>>51942926
Firefox removing this half-assed feature was the best thing that has happened to it.
In just days, superior alternatives were created. The developers would never have bothered making them if it "just werked" in Firefox already.
>>
>>51942926

It's a useless feature imo. Tab stacking would be better.
>>
>>51944714
Safari also doesn't have uBlock Origin or uMatrix, so get fucked.
>>
>>51945199
yeah, safari has the real uBlock.
I don't see the issue.

4chan is a government psyops. We are like rats in a fucking experiment. Pepes serve a multitude of functions. One of them is that they influence your thinking. They also partly serve as beacons. Dude just drop 4chan or else you will never leave.
>>
>>51945211
Nice shitpost. Can you also point me towards the "real" uMatrix for Safari?
>>
>>51945352
Fucking idiot there are already addons that recreate the functionality and do it better.
This is literally the reason to use Firefox, because whatever Mozilla decides to do you can always revert or even improve it.
>>
>>51945398
material makeover. looks shit and has padding all over the place.
>>
>>51945507

FF really needs a good fork.
>>

Partly a good thing because Mozilla never maintained it, at least as an addon it will receive more attention.

thanks for telling me, I was about to update

>>
>>51942926
yeah, it's called TAB GROUPS
>>
>>51946319
You are the idiot! Features in the core work better than add-ons. Mozilla should stop removing features.

The reason they do it is they have a rivalry. Mozilla tries to beat Chrome in minimalism and simplicity because they hate Google and want to take their users away.

That Rivalry got even more counterproductive and bad for power users when the Google/Mozilla contract was over, then Mozilla tried even faster to kill off features and instead implement Chrome's simplicity and not customizable design.

Mozilla should stop with that, this rivalry has no future, Google is only laughing about Mozilla's attempts to take Chromes users away, and the only one who is suffering thanks to this is Mozilla's power users, geeks and general tech guys.
>>
>>51947984
all of my this
>>
>>51948477
Seems Mozilla never was able to forgive to kicked away when the contract ended. No money from the hated sugar daddy anymore and they have been butthurt *lol*

Mozilla is like a bad stalker from hell which got totally mentally derailed.
