Will it ever be able to block ads?
>>
>>51936028
The hot adblocker of the moment is Redmorph: https://redmorph.com/articles/proof-in-the-packet.html
>>
>>51936028
Pic related is not being developed anymore.
You should check out uBlock Origin instead.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/
>>
>>51936242
Origin is a hobbyist fork. You should follow the link on the site of the official development team: https://ublock.org

I suppose you use DuckDuckGo or another open source searcn engine instead of Google, and that your smartphone doesn't have Google apps or any proprietary software installed, and that even your fucking TV runs Gentoo.

>>

yep, i use duckduckgo. and i don't own a smartphone

not sure where you got gentoo, though. it's a total waste of time and doesn't give two cocks about your freedom.

That neither ublock or origin do shit about ads?

learn to use ACCEPT_LICENSE

so i have to configure it not to violate my freedom?

nice, thanks

chew on the irony of you being upset about having the freedom to control your freedom

we're not talking about the right to use non-free software (that's just freedom zero); we're talking about endorsing non-free software by defaulting to allowing it

I'm pretty sure redmorph is a load of shit cause I just tried it on my personal website that links to nothing but gravatar (identicon) and cloudflare (normalize.css), and redmorph reports connections to quantserve and 2 other shits for my domain. Meanwhile ublock origin shows just gravatar and cloudflare, which is correct.

Nice try, basement "webdeveloper". Nobody is going to ask what your personal website is for you to get those sweet pageviews.

That webm is like going to a regular wedding dresses shop and then making a fuss because they don't have midget sized dress. The priority was Chrome users because they are simply the majority of users who install extensions today. However, as it has been proved, there will be also Firefox and Safari extensions soon.
>>
>>51936028
>not using an old version of utorrent

lamo whats wrong with you idiots
>>
>>51940579
according to to chacha, a shitty unreliable website[1], midgets make up 1% of the population of the US. by contrast, non-chrome users (as i've already said) consist of ~70% of computer users. your analogy fails to represent reality.

also, please provide some evidence for your assertion that "[Chrome users] are simply the majority of users who install extensions today." this smells like bullshit, especially on /g/.

finally, please stop making these threads. the resulting insult-orgy is entertaining i guess, but for the sake of your mental health (and ours), you should probably just put a lid on it.

come back when you've released the source code. until then, nobody gives a shit.

>>51940700
I said users of browsers who install extensions. IE users don't.

I could waste my time debunking all of your other stupid arguments, but I won't do that since you keep assuming I'm affiliated to Redmorph. I'm just someone who likes to tell others about superior software.

I'm no professional but if you have something that looks like a button but doesn't respond when pressed then that's bad design.

Detecting the browser is simple and should be used when you're offering browser specific things.

short of parental controls, i can't think of a single use for this. and even then, blocking "terror"... ? i mean, of all words, what the hell?

I didn't see any obvious way to display the full 116 word list either.

I wonder what reading a news website would be like with that on.
