Why isn't there a single good DAP with actually useful features like streaming capability or a freaking parametric EQ not priced in the thousands? I see all of the high end DAPs as a waste of money because of the specs they boast make next to no difference against a high end smartphone in real life but audio-oriented features like the ones I mentioned could probably fill the gap for these devices. X7 looks sexy as hell, probably measures really well like most FiiO DAPs do but it just looks like a niche product for a tiny target audience with a price tag double of what it should cost.

DACs on Android phones are pure fucking shit. I heard the Galaxy series from Samsung actually have decent DACs, but haven't tried them. I know for sure when it comes to mobile Apple has some of the best DACs in the market.
