I have a dark style too, but in mine I also hide the searchbar to the top right, which only shows on :hover.
Funny thing is that I can type something and press enter after the site is loaded because the javascript still autofocuses on the searchbar without even seeing it. Something nice, typing, enter, videos found and nobody saw where I typed.
