1. Its not like I'd buy their crappy products since I research what I buy;
2. If I do, it was due to technical merit, not the ad;
3. Some ads contain malware, music, or are outright intrusive;
4. Ad companies are disgusting and track you across the web, which leads to some disgusting practices (like simulating scarcity on an article that they know you've already viewed and upping the price to compel you to buy it on impulsive),
I'm genuinely enjoying seeing this as it will mean that sites now have to convince people to turn off their ad blockers in return for good content rather than putting up whatever generates the most clicks and then slapping loads of ads into those articles.
