Let's just take an example I watch DIMENSION's version of The Walking Dead where episodes come out at around 8-10 GB per episode and have a very high bitrate, much higher than any I've seen for any 1080p NETFLIX show. You're now comparing not only two different shows, but two different networks. Apparently AMC broadcasts at much higher bitrates. Or Dimension is getting these rips from pre-air sources. That's happened before.

I did that comparison too and I found the WEB-DL severely worse especially in high action scenes. I literally could not watch them otherwise I never would have grabbed these gigantic encodes.
