Because big media companies get more information by allowing private trackers to exist. If you have accounts on a private tracker, you get access to a lot of release information. Even if you aren't connecting to the swarms and harvesting data (which is risky and might get your account(s) banned), you can still find out when stuff is being released, and who is doing it.
It's a lot easier to shape your efforts in sending angry letters to people on public sites with the information gleamed from private ones.

There are a few different ways.
Spot an upload on AB that is only available in FLAC, download it and transcode it to MP3 @ 320kbps/ MP3V0/and MP3V2 and then upload them back onto AB.
That will net you already 3 uploads.
Another way it to download weeb albums from Bakabt or Nyaa that aren't on AB.
