Apparently I'm getting a Raspberry Pi 2 for Christmas.
What should I do with it first?

b) Get a small 4-port USB hub and attach a couple of good external harddrives
c) ???
d) profit

make sure you get the whole little kit anon (~US$65), otherwise you won't be able to use it until you get all the little necessities like a pwr supply, hdmi cable, microSD card.

build a jukebox with a UI and a mobile app that lets you choose the song.

Honestly that sounds like a lot of effort to create something that will used maybe once.

Make a Tor relay.
>>51901862
throw it directly into the trash because you're going to spend around 60 hours tinkering with it and maybe one hour tops actually playing with it.
>>51902112
you can maybe use it on parties =B
but watch this answer:
>>51902045
it is already done.

Stick it up your ass

Create a gentoobian distro

Run small services that technically your more powerful could easily run, but that you don't need to have on your main computer.
I have mine setup to run Redmine and also to email me the results of my online job that I automated.

The rPi 2 has 4 usb ports to begin with, and it's really easier to control via ssh than mouse & keyboard.
Mine's a media center holding around 2000 movies and TV episodes to free up space occupied by DVDs.
My pi B will soon be an email/web server for pretty just me.
You could also throw out ordinary routers in favor of a switch and wireless AP and leave the pi the job of routing, sure it's only 10/100 but what home router isn't?
Sell it on Craigslist or another used-goods marketplace.

Even this shit much better.
Tip: Don't run a tor relay if you want to use websites that use Cloudflare.
They detect it and ban you from most websites, including 4chan.
Learned that from experience
>>51905967
>using Cloudflare
>instead just wrap all traffic through via tor
What are you baka sinzi, aren't you?
