My PC restarts itself when using w10 for whatever reason. So, I don't use it.
For some reason I'm having really annoying issues with nvidia drivers + firefox new versions (40+) + windows 10.
Redraw / repaint issues on tabs.
Installed firefox 36 - everything works fine without a single redraw glitch.

It is slow, I decided recently to leave my lovely *nix world on one of my computers so:
1. I could get some more Windows experience/be more comfortable with the system
2. I wanted to get better performance in a game that in the past always played better under windows.
Unfortunately the OS on a whole seemed really strangely slower, stupidly I didn't stop at 8.1(which I remember performing just fine in the past) on my way to 10. The game was just as annoyingly slow as on the Linux port for my shitbox unfortunately, so I've had to waste my time moving back to *nix again because fuck that shit.
(Also I went through the trouble of slimming down the windows defaults(services etc) hoping for better performance but all I could really get was a few hundred more MBs of RAM which didn't change anything)
I have no idea what has happened but I definitely do not remember it being this slow before.
I know what I'm doing.
Currently using server 2008 r2. No upgrade to 10 bullshit, fast and reliable and aupported for a long time. After end of support probably switch to server 2016. The most important thing i miss after 7/2k8 is classic theme.

I would have no benefit with my 4yr-old W7 machine, and non-optional updates would mean that I don't get to control my own system anymore. Not to mention that the W8 upgrade was incompatible with having an existing TrueCrypt configuration, so the W10 upgrade probably is too. I think this is a hard pass for me.

Tbh I installed it, it stalled on an update and would reboot 10+ times never completing it every time I shut down. Now I just use debian stable it's great.
