Compared to basically very other republican Rand is actually pretty rational. The rest of the republicans want more surveillance laws and to go to war with one or more countries. Most of /pol/ were backing Rand before Trump came on the scene, randlet is just making fun of his height because Trump stole what little thunder he had. Rand has a (much) better tax plan, better foreign policy of non-intervention, and will give the same outcome as Trump in regards to immigration. Trump wants to remove them and make a wall, Rand will ultimately remove them by cutting off the welfare state so no one can game the system in the first place. Trump's benefit is, the other countries in the middle east won't dare tread on the US without thinking twice about what they're doing.

Bernie and Paul are very different as far as what they believe in they just happen to have common views on some issues. In simple terms Paul wants the government to be limited, while Bernie wants the government to be expanded in certain areas.

I heard when you accept the presidential role, the feds begin a full audit on your income since the beginning and Trump would have to open his books. Some guys I spoke to said Trump was too far in illegal activities to ever let that happen.
