what is the rest of the rig
Why exactly do you think your PSU isnt working?
Get a psu tester first that'll tell you if the psu is dying or not
>>51888483
Go into your BIOS and check the voltage on your 12V, 5V, and 3.3V lines. If they're more than 10% out of spec, then it's likely the PSU.
Also, OCCT has a PSU stress test. Worth looking into that.

Test the PSU, try using onboard graphics and remove the Dedicated GPU just to make sure something else isn't fucked.
Borrow a friends PSU if you can or test the theory by buying a Best Buy PSU using it and returning it.

Because I keep trying recommendations people tell me (on here) and non seem to work.

Rosewill capstone 750 modular. works wonderful for me and i got it for $80!

okk, I think I might just take my psu into the shop to get the things (cannot think of name) switched out for fresh ones.
>>51888483
Why do you think your PSU is fucked? I have the same model and it has been gravy for quite a long time.

It reset on a OCCT test..
I used to think my psu was shit and it turned out I needed new thermal paste on my cpu and gpu. See if that's not your problem senpai.

Play scrooge as you have, buy your closet full of Corsair/insert-another-turd-tier-PSU-here
or get something that doesn't cause housefires.
Like, Seasonic.
I'm using a 680w to run an i7-4790k 3 hdds too many fans 8 hm if ram and a gtx 770 and it holds it fine

Thermal paste on the GPU? Is this a real thing?
