no i mean on right clicking on the image and opening it in a new tab. it just goes to the 404 page and then redirects to the board instead of the archive. similar problem to above. i'm guessing it may work again but i'm not sure. it may also have to do with having a thread 404 and then not being able to redirect images or the thread properly when you open them in or enter them in the url bar in a new tab. of course to test this quickly you'd have to test it on /b/.

even the so-called "add-ons" didn't fix it right. just made it look a little more like it. but a lot of mechanics like getting rid of all the bars for example aren't there. to me firefox is always best when it's firefox. not some shitty jewgle chromium clone. in addition i use adblock plus which i keep up to date with all of the malware blocks etc. enabled. in addition i use firefox for the image boards mainly as of late or something i'm on for a long time and an older version of jewgle chromium with adblock plus for general web browsing because their update is also shit. also i have an anti-virus. so far so good.

Easiest way is to start by creating a new profile and freshly reinstalling 4chan X. That way, default settings, no other addons to interfere. If you can make it break on demand in a fresh profile, then it should be easy for anyone to reproduce, unless it's something with hardware or network connectivity.

Do you have "Mark Quotes of You" turned off by any chance? If so, this is expected behavior now. There should probably be separate options for tracking posts made by you and marking the quotes, but that doesn't exist yet.
