I asked elsewhere and got no answers. I can't disable the "background" desktop Messaging app. All I want to do is turn Skype off. I've searched, tried removing it with PowerShell, I've tried setting the actual Skype app to the default. As far as I can see there's no settings. I've been muting it but I want to know how to actually disable it.

If I wanted to install something else I would just use Linux. I don't want to use Windows 7 and deal with all the UEFI bullshit. I dislike 7 more than 10... That would be severing a limb to fix a hangnail anyways.

You need to call Pajeet from the Microsoft Help Desk Squadâ„¢ in order to get your problem solved.

Yeah so they can confirm that it's plugged in and ask me to restart my computer to see if all the lights are on? No thanks. There has to be a real way to disable the background Messaging/Skype app bullshit.
Alright thanks for the help guys.
1. remove your graphics card if you have one
2. go into your UEFI
3. disable the iGPU
4. now you have bigger problems to worry about
