Just bought an epson xp-320 for about 44 bucks. Acceptable color and photo quality printing for my needs. Has a scanner/copier too if you need it.

Printers are just so damn cheap these days. My old Canon ip2600 needed maintenance and its not even worth my time to fix it or to send it to Canon when a brand new one is this cheap.

I concur. Brother makes great inexpensive monochrome laser printers, which, if you shop around, you can get for as low as $40 (duplex, no wireless). Just be sure to use the trick to get more pages out of your toner cartridges (especially the starter cartridge) by fooling the optical sensor.

HP makes the best laser printers by far, but for just normal home use, they're overpriced compared to Brother.

And don't even think about inkjet unless you like to get raped by refill costs. Inkjets are a fucking scam started by Jews for more schekels.

While in most cases you can always just use email, sometimes you actually need to print something for snailmail. Plus, if you already have a desktop/laptop or/and smartphone you have 0 needs for a tablet, unless it's an ereader and those suck cock for any other thing but reading books..
