I still live with my mother. I pay her 150 a month for rent but we don't pay for water and other utilities except for gas. I buy most of my meals, my own clothes, make my car payments and my cell phone as well as my insurance. I work full time and so my part too. Only thing I don't pay for is Internet. Ceiling tiles aren't that expensive. Neither is sheetrock. If you were willing to do some of the work yourself, you could get the ceilings done nicely for $200-300 or so. Though if you like the sheets and they're working for you, that's fine too I guess.

This then leads me back to my original question:
Would it be more enjoyable to game on triple 1200p, or on a single Ultrawide 1440p?
The Ultrawide has the benefits of being better for movies, having reasonably located in game menus, granting a touch more screen real estate in normal desktop usage, no bezels, and freesync.
The triple screen has the benefits of being cheaper, having better build quality (the Ultrawide I'd get is made by Acer and seems to have bad backlight bleed), giving a wider FOV, and having adjustable curvature.

This backlight bleed issue is what makes me question the Acer. Dell does have the U3415W, which lacks any adaptive sync, which I feel like is something I'd really like to have for going this high end, particularly in games where my FPS falls a bit at this resolution. I might just wait for DisplayPort 1.3 with Adaptive Sync to become a thing, as I'm not really in any rush here.
As far as bezels go, given my playing around with my current "triple screen" setup, which involves running 3x1080p Eyefinity, which does look weird right now given that none of my panels are actually 1080p, they don't consciously bother me, but I find they do break immersion in some games. In games like Civ V and Eurotruck, everything looks beautiful and it's an absolute joy to have all of the extra display. I also intend on getting a nice wheel and some nice racing sims in the future, which I'm sure will also look beautiful. Yet, in games where I'm playing as a single walking person like Just Cause, Left 4 Dead, and Minecraft, I find that I'm really only looking at the middle screen, and don't really reap any benefit from the extra screens.
Now that I think about it, is it reasonably safe for me to assume that any game supporting native 3x1080p would also support native 3x1200p?
