mpv is shit
just tried with my projector, videos are tearing.
>>51876252
I enabled SmartScreen on my Windows 10 computer at work to try and repro. No luck. Maybe it really was a bad download.
>>51876184
Which OS and VO? Are you running the latest version of mpv? Is your projector a secondary monitor and is it running at a different refresh rate to the primary? If Linux, do any other programs not tear?
>>51876346
I'm the OP who originally uploaded that image from the original thread. >>51876252
I just downloaded it straight from the latest https://mpv.srsfckn.biz/mpv-x86_64-latest.7z
Maybe the maintainer complied it differently this time?
I never got the warning message again though after the first warning. I just don't want windows 10 to automatically start deleting "suspicious" software.

Win 10
VO?
Downloaded mpv 2 weeks ago
I choose "Show desktop only on 1" (see pic) so that the monitor turns off
Not sure how to check refresh rate, I have no problem in games.

The difference is that it's now digitally signed, but that shouldn't make it show that warning, it should actually be less likely too.
As long as it doesn't happen to anyone else, I guess it's fine. Maybe MS already fixed the false positive.

Yeah, the second last build was fucked wrt. tearing on Windows 10 and needed to be fixed by changing an option. Sorry about that. The latest one (released less than a week ago) should work out-of-the-box.
>>51876252
Windows does this to all open source and free software
>>51876161
FYI, OP-kun, hwdec=no is the default.
nnedi3 is still fucking slow (which means it results in stutter) on Windows 10 / R9 390 even with backend=dxinterop
Any idea on how to fix this or do I need to wait for a more streamlined implementation?
>>51877047
>R9 390
Get fucked AMD poorfag. NNEDI3 works beautifully on my 980 Ti.
How do I go to a specific frame / point in time on MPV?
>There's people here running W10
Hahaha, what the fuck
>>51877866
NNEDI3 has always worked better on AMD cards you massive kuck
>>51878060
And yet I have 128 neurons on without any stutter. Stay pleb, stay poor, stay mad, AMD cuck.
