No

and even if you could, if you did it would clock the faster card to the slower card levels essentially giving you two 5850s

It's called SLI, retard.
>>
>>51865839
ok thx
>>
lolno. Crossfire only works between GPUs using the same design. SLI only works between identical GPUs
>>
Multiple gpu is a lousy meme, few games optimize for it, the scaling is really crap for the amount of power and the vram doesn't even stack.
>>
>>51866309
Mantle/vulkan/DX12 are supposed to fix that. With the new APIs each GPU is addressed independently and there's no need for them to share memory so the VRAM can "stack" with those.

I remember that monstrosity being posted. Doesn't that system have 9001 hard drives in it as well?

Is this even a consumer system?
It looks like something that would be in a server room.
>>
>>51865512
there has been a benchmark i believe which tested this just recently with dx12.

the slower card downgrades the performance because it bottlenecks the faster gpu

Are you alright, Jeff? You might have gotten a stroke.
>>
Op are you just wanting to hook up more displays than one card supports? You can do that with those two cards if they can use the same drivers. You don't sli them, just the main card will be used for 3D.
