What do you use to change file formats? I need to change from mov to avi.

youll need a key but you can find one on the internet that works in like 1 minute. its super useful and i use it all the time when i torrent stuff in MKV format.

Try to do -c copy to only change the container formats, if possible. Otherwise, you'll be killing your files.
I use xmedia recode, but I do also live in the past.
VLC can do that
