I was installing a new heatsink on a like year old AMD CPU. The old heatsink wouldn't come off for some reason even though it was disengaged, so I just kept pulling it harder and harder. Turns out the piece of shit heatsink was superglued to the CPU since the paste had dried into cement. About 30 pins were bent, but none of them broke. I spent like 2 hours getting the CPU off the heatsink and another 2 bending all the pins back into place with a card and pen. Somehow it still worked just fine after I installed the 212. Still using the same computer and it works fine, it's like 4 years old
