I was thinking of buying Oneplus 2 but it seems its ROM is very buggy. Based on number of complaint and types of bugs, I think it's worse than a beta custom ROM on other phones. Is it that bad?
I'm also thinking about 5x. Although it has half the RAM(also slower ddr3) and storage on similar price, I still think experience on 5x will be far superior compared to OP2.
What do you think? Any one who has both of these?

I have used the one mini 1 for 2 years now, and loved it. Only problem I had was the lack of an sd card slot. I really like the front speakers on the htc one phones.

I got that Nextplus app that lets you send free SMS from an assigned number. Not only did I have to greenify it and turn off all it's notifications, but I had to manually go into system->apps to disable notifications because it showed spam there, too. That's not my fucking lockscreen, it's my homescreen. It's meant for changing wallpapers, not lockscreens. It can work for both, or just your base wallpaper, but that's based on your wallpaper settings on your phone. Some phones you set both, some you can do independently, some, like mine have settings to change it.
The icons are Min. You can change them most readily by getting Nova Launcher, then use Nova launcher to change your icons.

Fastest processor at the moment, great camera, excellent display and fairly easy to handle given the size. Samsung's Touchwizz Android modifications are annoying though and ram management is horrible. Also there is no sd card slot and the glass back, whilst feeling very premium will easily break. Looking at a Huawei Ascend Mate 7. I love everything about it except one thing: apparently you can get root but can't load ROMs not based on the Huawei skinned android (EMUI) that it ships with. How deep can I modify without fully custom ROMs?
I want to get rid of as much proprietary shit, nonfree software and bloatware, as well as any frivolous animations, background processes or performance hogs, and privacy/personal data abusers that ship with the skin. Basically I want to get as close to AOSP/cyanogenmod as possible without loading roms.
Looking closer and doing some internet searches, I think I should be able to do a lot of this with Xposed modules and careful observation of system files. So I guess I should ask, does anyone know of any serious complications I may run into?

I've been using the Z5C for about 2 months now and honestly I'm not all that impressed. The battery life is much poorer than advertised and the phone freezes far too much for a £430 device.

Yesterday I took the phone off charge at 9AM, by 6PM it was at 11%. Light usage in the morning and afternoon because I was out on a walk all day, had Spotify playing for an hour and a half in the car which killed most of the battery. 2 hr SOT in total. All with Stamina mode enabled.
I've uninstalled a bunch of shit apps I don't use any more in the hopes of extending the battery life. When I first got it I could get almost two days out of it, now it's rare that I get one full day. Might have to exchange it under warranty or something.

It is almost certainly going to be better than the Samsung S3's camera.

The sensor and optic are quite possibly the best on the market, but the lack of optical image stabilization and the shitty camera software hold the hardware back.The picture quality in good lighting conditions is excellent, especially if you use manual mode, but moving objects tend to blur slightly more than in other flagships, and low light photographs are horrible, there it might actually be at the level of your S3

Getting a new phone soon(Moto X Pure 2015) and want to know if I can set up an SD card in advance. I have over 16 gigs of music but my comp is rather slow so i was thinking I could or should buy the sd card now and set it up in advance. But to do this would I need to format the card in a different android phone or can i just pop it in and use it without wiping the music when i get my phone?

well if you want to use the sd card to also install apps on you will need to format it again and the music will be lost. Otherwise you can just pop it in and put the music on it before it actually goes into the phone. If you format it before though you will only be able to use it in the phone you formatted it in so that means you won't be able to use it in any other device anyways.
