theres no way you're gonna get a 60hz panel (atleast not most) to 75hz. I managed to get my shitty Acer from 75 to 77 max. My CRT was another story and went from 85 native all the way to 200hz on some resolutions and 160 on native. ran fine for a few weeks but then I stopped using it. it was one of the high end NEC ones though.

i have modelines up to 72Hz on my monitor, but it's not an overclock, although the monitor doesn't have a premade 72Hz mode in its EDID, my modeline is within the monitors' spec (namely, it's under the 165MHz pixel clock limit)
i doubt most of the posts itt are actual overclocks, most modern monitors will simply refuse to try anything out of spec (see >>51838640)
