Every time I have an android phone my only options for updating are
1) buy a new phone

2) install a shitty "doesn't work: you tell me ;)" backdoored 3rd party rom from somebody with the surname Patel
Android device manufacturers seriously need to get their shit together.

I got the Xperia T3 over a year ago and I have yet to receive a single update. They abandoned the device completely despite the fact that even lower end models are still getting updates. When asked by they ignored the T3, they are always completely silent on the issue.

You can download a flashable zip of the motorola camera app on xda and install it on the moto g with cyanogenmod. I already did it and it works fine.
Fuck the moto G, if I'm getting anything that doesnt have a removable battery I'll just buy the Blu Life One X 2015 rehash, $80 cheaper for a phone that is literally better in every way and is going to get marshmallow by q1 2016
