Why the fuck are these always fucking cemented so hard to laptops?

It takes so much effort to take them off.

Alcohol, heat.
>>
>>51825244
no it doesn't. take out your tampon and try again.
>>
Because they'd rather have one autismo complain about them being hard to remove than thousands complaining that they peel too easily. Most people don't try to remove them.
>>
>>51825278
No one wants them there though

Maybe not, but few care enough to actually attempt to take it off, and fewer still complain about the process.
>>
Taking them off isn't the issue it's the huge sticky mess they leave which is impossible to get off

>Put windex on cloth

Just warm them with a hairdryer nigga, they come off like it's normal paper.
>>
>>51825444
And MELT my laptop?! Yeah, no thanks.
>>
>>51825478
there is some orange spray stuff that can take off the sticky residue. Got some cans of it from a friend who does vinyl work. works great.
>>
Mox some amonia and bleach apply with a damp cloth and it dissolves the adhesive

Hot air can't melt steel beams, anon
>>
>>51825244
just stick your damn fingernail between the sticker and the laptop, and the rest should peel off easily
>>
Because those companies pay the OEM to make sure they stay there.
>>
>>51825478
lol do you melt yourself with a hairdrier fagget?

Great!

It's taken me so much scrubbing to get the glue off that there's not very obvious microscratches in the surface.

Nice going Intel very good.

No, it doesn't.
>>
>>51826933
In what world do erasers look like what?
>>
Holy shit, how many people just fail at life if you think taking a fucking sticker off is a hard task.

After that use scotch tape to remove the remaining residue. Easy peasy.
>>
>>51826358
>eliminates greasy, sticky problems
Make sure not to spill any on yourself OP

use a razor blade

>Get rubbing alcohol
>Take sticker off
>Remove residue with alcohol

Easy. If you can't figure it out you're probably too dumb to work a computer anyways.

lol @ the fucking jug of goo gone

seriously who has that much goo?
>>
>>51827409
or just buy in bulk and use it for years.
>>
>>51825244
Get a heat gun. A hair dryer will work in a pinch. Turn your heat gun to it's lowest heat, highest fan setting. Run over the surface in a fast circular motion for 15-30 seconds. This will liquify the adhesive making the sticker peel right off. If you do it right, all the adhesive will stick to the sticker. You can dab up little spots with the cooled sticker. For larger patches 90% ISO and a q-tip will make short work of it.
>>
>>51827426
I already use the normal size for years.
>>
>>51827409
Take another look at them. The small one only contains citrus power, whereas the large one uses PRO power.
>>
i use snipped a can of Loctite gasket remover from work.

Works great on those stinky adhesives.
And doesn't damage plastic, so that's a plus.
