This is what I did. It was pretty easy and I found out the method by READING THE FUCKING STICKY. A thread had to die for this.
You can install it without a key, but it will keep prompting you for a key, and start shutting down every couple of hours without one.
If you upgrade from windows 7 or 8 you get a free key.
