I know /g/ may not like these thread but meh
Should I get a Xeon for gaming? I have my build ready to order but I have been thinking of getting a Xeon, saving the extra $100 or so and using it to get a better Xeon then the Xeon equivalent of the i7 or i5 I was planning on getting.
Pro cons?
Im stuck between the i7 4790k I originally wanted for $340 or the Xeon E3-1241 v3 for $280.
Either get a better Xeon or upgrade the gtx 970 I want to a 980.
Idk

What ancient city is that?

All I know is that xeon is the exact same as a i7 4790k I believe, except without integrated graphics. So go for it m8. Also, don't buy a 980, either go 970 for great 1080p gaming or go balls to the wall with a 980ti
