What x99 motherboard should I get?
pls
Atx or smaller?
Asus has the OC socket, which is pretty nice.
My x99a has worked great thus far. One year old now.

nice, those are going for $240 right now right? I was thinking of picking it up
I think OP is looking for Micro ATX boards only maybe?
At least I am.
At the moment I'm looking at the ASRock Fatal1ty x99M Killer.
The other ones available here in Norway are:
Asus X99-M WS
Gigabyte GA-X99M-Gaming 5
ASRock X99M Extreme4
ASRock Fatal1ty X99M Killer
EVGA X99 Micro
EVGA X99 Micro2

Doesn't have to be micro
>>51808148
ASUS X99-A/USB 3.1

I'm looking for a micro-ATX with room for 2 GPU's, M2, DDR3+
PCIe must be at least x16 with x8/x8 for dual gpus.

The gigabyte G5 non-micro is great.

this desu senpai no reason to spend more money for looks.

If I were building a PC now it would use a workstation grade board. As I've been finding that I really only ever use a slight overclock and really prefer rock solid stability above all else.

Only reason I go to Asus automatically is because they're the only company I have any experience with product wise. But I've heard the customer support is pretty shit.
Going to buy this setup soon.

Something I should change?

Are you sure that's all going to fit into a microATX case?
Also, it's usually better to have 2 DRAM modules rather than 4

EVGA Micro 2 is the only matx x99 motherboard with dual 3.0 x16 and a proper M.2 3.0 x4 socket. The Asus WS boards M.2 socket is 2.0 x2, and I'd rather eat my own faeces than buy another ASRock motherboard.

Yep, the Carbide 240 Air is actually quite spacy.
The X99 is a quad channel chipset so I thought going for 4 modules was better than 2?
>>51810594
It is. 4x4gb is the sweet spot for X99.
Can someone recommend me a mobo for the parts I already have?
>>51810222
get a cpu cooler
>>51810594
Ah yes, you're right about the RAM, my mistake.
>>51810814
I'm doing a custom water cooling build.
