Yes. There are games that take advantage of it, more all the time, it's vastly better for literally everything else and essential for emulation of any kind.

Games are starting to take advantage of more than four threads, and Hyperthreading is helping. It's the same reason why the G3258 is complete shit for gay men, yet an i3 copes just fine. It's not 2013 any more.
