So I just bought a new laptop. The best I could find for around 1k was this Acer V17 Nitro.
I dare you to find a flaw in this slim beautiful piece of art.

It's an Acer, therefore the build quality is going to be meh and the hard drive will crash in under a year because of poor bracket system. The hinges are weak as fuck and the screen is barely held in place.

Acer is acceptable, the complaints must be from neckbeards finding out it's not very resistant to letting your weight on it while humping it pretending it's miku's loli asscrack, I copped me an Acer Chromebook 15 and the thing is simply beautiful, just what I need for a lunix machine, the 1080p resolution allows me 100 lines of code without scrolling, what more can I ask for

i had two 3820tg
both had heat problems resulted in dead external gpu
and keyboard was so bad i just cant even
had v5 573pg - screen had no oleophobic protection (or w/e its called) and keyboard with touchpad was even worse, like i had literally died every time i used it
on the other hand - that shit was cheap and had nice specs - used it with monitor and external keyboard/mouse
